Citroen C4 MPV
Review
Citroen's contender in the hardest-fought segment of the new car market marks a quantum leap for the manufacturer. Styled with flair (the three-door coupe is particularly eye-catching), superbly equipped for comfort, convenience and safety and with a refined and sweet-handling chassis, the C4 is more than a match for all its key rivals.

Equipment
As well being distinctly different in appearance, the coupe and hatchback have different grade designations: for the five-door there is LX, SX and Exclusive, equating to the coupe's VT, VTR and VTS. Perversely both models share a VTR Plus grade.
Key standard features on all grades include the unique-to-Citroen multi-function steering wheel with a fixed central boss that keeps all the ancillary controls in a set position at all times, cruise control with speed limiter function, electric front windows and door mirrors, trip computer, sound system with CD player and six airbags £ but no air conditioning. SX/VTR versions add air conditioning with a built-in, interchangeable air freshener cartridge, 16-inch alloy wheels, leather steering wheel trim and a neat boot divider system (VTR only). The VTR Plus gains dual-zone climate control, automatic wiper and headlmaps, electric rear windows, auto-dipping rear view mirror and 17-inch alloys. Exclusive and VTS grades introduce the Security Pack with alarm and laminated side windows, xenon directional headlamps that move with the vehicle's turning angle, footwell and door sill lighting, five-disc CD autochanger and rear parking sensors. Not all grades are available with all engine/bodystyle combinations.
