Ford Focus Estate Review
Ford achieved a major breakthrough with the original Focus in 1997, establishing class-leading levels of driving dynamics, safety and all-round performance. In replacing this long-running best-seller, Ford has refined the qualities of the original, rather than making another leap forward. The new range of three and five-door hatches and estate (a saloon and coupe-cabriolet will follow).

Five grades: Studio,, Style, Zetec, Ghia and Titanium Studio models come with electric front windows, 60:40 folding rear seat, reach and rake-adjustable steering wheel and sound system with CD player. Style grade introduces air conditioning, electric door mirrors, trip computer, leather steering wheel trim, front fog lights, remote audio controls and body coloured grille and mouldings. Zetec adds sports front seats, sports supension, heated windscreen and 16-inch alloy wheels. Ghia grade introduces rear electric windows, auto-dimming rear view mirror, colled glovebox, carpet mats, automatic headlights and wipers, front scuff plates, rear armrest, additional interior lighting, cruise control and premium audio system with digital music file recognition. Titanium models adopt sports front seats, rear privacy glass and sports-themed interior trim details; cruise control is deleted but available as an option.
