Honda Legend Saloon Review
Five years after the previous Legend flagship was deleted from Honda's range in the UK, the company has decided to import its all-new Legend, a technical and electronic tour-de-force. It oozes luxury and impeccable build quality. It even handles decently courtesy of an all-wheel drive system which can push 70 per cent of the engine's torque to the back wheels, or even to the rear outer wheel. Legend is a token flagship, however: Honda UK aims to sell only around 400 a year.

There is only one trim level on UK-spec Legends, although the option pack adds extra dynamic and safety aids. All cars have all-wheel drive, trip computer, cruise control, power release for boot lid and fuel flap, directional headlights, automatic headlights and wipers, front fog lights, electric windows, electrically folding and heated door mirrors, rear-view camera, glass electric roof, auto-dimming door mirrors and rear-view mirror, leather-covered multi-function steering wheel, electric rear sunshade, dual-zone climate control, electric adjustment and heating on both front seats, leather upholstery, eight-speaker radio-CD multichanger, Bluetooth phone preparation and voice-recognition DVD satellite navigation. The extra dynamic package adds electric front seatbelt pre-tensioners, Collision Mitigating Braking System, which applies the brakes at 0.6-g force if the car suspects it's about to hit something; Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assistance System.
