Kia Carens MPV
Review
The original Kia Carens was a cheap-and-cheerful compact MPV which appealed especially to young mums. The all-new second-generation Carens broadens its scope to offer seven seats as standard in most models, a fine diesel engine, better ride quality, improved cabin trim and Kia's traditional value for money.

Equipment
The entry trim level carries the S badge and is available only on the petrol car. It brings 15-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows, four-speaker radio-CD-MP3 player, aircon, four electric windows, map lamps and electric door mirrors. Stepping up to GS trim adds chrome body trim, roof rails, front fog lamps, a de-ice facility on the front wipers, heated door mirrors and leather trim on the steering wheel and gearshift. The final step to LS trim brings automatic headlights, automatic wipers and auto-dim rear-view mirror, an extra pair of speakers, 16-inch alloys, climate control, an electric tilt-slide sunroof, a fold facility on the door mirrors, trip computer, cruise control (diesel only) and a luggage net. The middle row of seats on seven-seat models can slide forward and back for best balance of passenger/load space.
