Lexus RX 4x4
Review
Introduced in the late-1990s, the Lexus RX is an SUV developed primarily for the North American market. The original model was competitive, but lacked direction in several key areas. In 2003, Lexus reappraised the model and the all-new version is sleeker, even better equipped and considerably more adept at playing in the muck. In spring 2005 Lexus launched the RX 400h, a hybrid power version using a combination of V6 petrol engine and two electric motors, achieving notable fuel economy and low emissions for the luxury SUV class. In spring 2006 the 3.0-litre V6 was replaced with a new 3.5-litre unit in the RX 350 model.
