Renault is aiming high with its third generation Laguna, seeking to compete with premium brand rivals with an emphasis on quality and driving pleasure. It is available in five-door Hatch and estate Sport Tourer versions, with a coupe version to follow later.

Equipment
Five trim levels: Expression, Dynamique, Dynamique S, GT and Initiale. Standard features on Expression include 16-inch alloy wheels, radio-CD with steering wheel controls, air conditioning, alarm, body-coloured bumpers, door mirrors and handles, driver's seat lumbar adjustment, electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors and leather steering wheel trim. Dynamique versions have part-leather upholstery, front sports seats, chrome cabin details and a sports-steering wheel with a flat bottom section. Dynamique S adds 17-inch alloys, leather and Alcantara sports seats which are heated and electrically adjustable, automatic parking brake, climate control, dusk-sensing headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. GT versions have a sports-tuned chassis, adjustable power steering, sports suspension, larger brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, part leather and Alcantara upholstery and aluminium gear knob and pedals. Initiale trim includes full leather upholstery, satellite navigation with Bluetooth, memory settings for the front seats, auto-dipping rear view mirror, rear sunblinds.
