A SUPER efficient A3. New 105PS 1.6-litre TDI diesel model replaces noisy old 1.9-litre engine and brings with it start-stop plus a clever alternator that helps store energy from braking. Tested here in five-door Sportback mode, priced at £18,025. Available in 3dr and Cabriolet form too.

Audi A3 Sportback

The Audi A3 Sport back is a strong confident car that joins both comfort and control seamlessly. The A3 handles extremely well on all types of journeys and grips the road with ease. If you are looking for a harder or smoother ride there are a number of suspension options to change the feel of the Sportback. The SE is a firm but exhilarating drive whilst the Sport models are lower and firmer.

Engine types

A number of engines are available starting with the Sportback 1.4 TFSI 122 SE that comes with the Audi Efficiency program and a Start-stop System for enhances fuel economy.

For more power but still looking after your mpg and C02 emissions the A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI 122 SE would be more suited and still offers a smooth ride.

Not only is the Audi A3 SE agile but it also has a beautiful cabin that can comfortably hold 4 passengers. Looking inside the SE there is a 4-spoke leather multifunctional steering wheel and all around the cabin are micrometalic silver inlays. On the outside of the vehicle the 10 spoke 16" alloys finish the car off perfectly.

The next spec is the Audi A3 Sport that has 17" Alloys sport suspension and is 15mm lower than the SE. The Dual- zone electronic climate control is also fitted in the Sport and also has aluminium trim throughout to name a few of its features.

Finally the S line has 18" '5 parallel-spoke- design' partly polished, xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime running lights and leather upholstery with line embossing. All models have a brilliant finish and offers complete comfort to the driver and its passengers.
