2011 Hyundai Equus enters the Top 10 of Summer Vehicles
The new Hyundai Equus has entered the Top Ten Summer Sizzlers list – a list that is generated by Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com to praise vehicles that are expected to make an impact on the industry.
The Equus, which has been designed to be a rival to other luxury sedans, has a world-class rear-wheel drive-train and an award winning 4.6-liter Tau® V8.
This perhaps explains why the model is making such a big impact and why it has been awarded a place in the Top 10.
The Top 10 Summer Sizzlers list is a based upon the potential impact the vehicle will have on drivers, in particular whether the vehicle is likely to excite consumers once it is released.
Scott Margason, director of Product Planning at Hyundai Motor America, said, “Equus will help translate Hyundai’s successful formula for intelligent luxury into the retail and service environment so that owners get a high-end experience at a more affordable price point.”
He went on to say that this is down to cutting-edge technology, luxury, value and a bold style that is unparalleled.
Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director at kbb.com, said that the industry has been inundated with new models that were unveiled ahead of schedule in preparation for 2011.
He added, “It’s never been a better time to be in the market for a new car, because auto manufacturers have stepped up their game to offer more choices than ever.”
Other leasing options that are in the Top Ten Summer Sizzler list are the Ford Fiesta, BMW 5 Series Sedan, Chevrolet Cruze, Honda CR-Z, Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Mazda MAZDA2.
