As with the majority of city cars, the Kia Soul took the Euro NCAP safety test and scored the maximum amount stars available. As well as doing well in adult protection, child protection and passenger protection, the Kia Soul was also ranked highly with regards to safety assist. An electronic stability programme and six air bags fitted as standard all help to make the Kia Soul one of the safest vehicles to drive.
