The vehicles produced by the firm aimed to offer motorists highly responsive steering and fantastic handling and featured a sports-orientated design. During this period Mazda also began to introduce its V6 and V8 engines into vehicles to widespread critical acclaim. The company have not just enjoyed success on the commercial market however, Mazda have developed cars that have gone on to win titles in competitions such as the IMSA and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
