Leasing figures indicate that Mazda3 is the most popular company car model
The Japanese car manufacturer, Mazda, has recently revealed that its Mazda3 has become a market leader for the competitive company car leasing market.
A representative from Mazda has suggested that these increased leasing figures may be due to Mazda’s award-winning designs and their high-level specification, that out-perform rival vehicles of the same class.
Peter Allibon, remarketing director for Mazda UK, said, “We are winning significant conquest business with Mazda3 as company’s switch from other brands.â€
He added, “Having a sub 120g/km car in the range delivering low benefit-in-kind tax bills and first class fuel economy (62.8 mpg on the combined cycle) has been crucial to building Mazda3 demand.â€
As well as these features the Mazda3 also has has as standard a traction control system, dynamic stability control, remote central locking, six airbags and manual air-conditioning. The car also boasts an MP3 compatible audio system that connects to four surround sound speakers.
Mr Allibon explained that by marketing these features to make companies aware what a Mazda can offer to their workforce, the car manufacturer has put the model ahead of other vehicles.
The sales and leasing figures clearly indicate that this advertising campaign has been successful as the model is out-selling and out-leasing other car manufacturers.
Mr Allibon added, “Driving the car then makes the final decision for them – our sales success is product-led and not price driven.â€
So if considering hiring vehciles for your workforce then a test-drive may help you decide.
